Eora/Sydney-based indie-rock group FVNERAL has blessed us with the arrival of their new single 'FROZEN LASAGNE'.

The slow-paced tune demonstrates the vulnerable and sentimental side of FVNERAL with the help of Tim Blunt and Ally Turner with their joint vocals. The strong instrumentation and delicate production reflect the raw lyrics of the hit.

‘Frozen Lasagne’ is set in the freezer aisle of a supermarket when having a panic attack. FVNERAL shares about how it explores “arriving at a crossroads, recognising that you hold the people closest to you to a higher standard than you hold yourself to; expecting empathy from those who you haven't been willing to offer it to. It's about looking at the people who have shown you so much kindness and care and realising that you haven't been reciprocating. The song details the search for the good inside yourself - the good that the people who love you see, or at least hope they can see again someday.".

The video accompanying ‘Frozen Lasagne’ was filmed and directed by Lorena Rabbani which the band explains to paint “super glib pictures of mental ill-health and inner turmoil’ whilst bringing a playful and humorous aspect into the visual.

Their last EP ‘WHEN I GET SOBER’ was praised by the likes of triple j Unearthed, Ones To Watch, and Rolling Stone Magazine also selling out the debut headline show at the Vanguard in Eora/Sydney - you won’t wanna skip them on your playlist so listen to ‘FROZEN LASAGNE’ here or watch the video here.
