Kitschen Boy release new single ‘Close Friends’

Naarm/Melbourne-based group Kitschen Boy have a strong indie-rock sound which lead to their new single ‘Close Friends’.

The single has delicate lyrics with a mix of indie notes to create a gentle and heartwarming song.

Kitschen Boy explain that ‘Close Friends’ “is the story of a protagonist unsure of how to read romantic signals” due to the overwhelming influence that social media has throughout our everyday lives. The protagonist is “trying to untangle the implications and insinuations of their interactions with a romantic partner in a plea for clarity and surety in either direction.” outpouring the struggles of “love in the digital age and how overwhelming it can be to find and perpetuate a relationship within these confines."

You may have seen the band share the stage with Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Teenage Dads, The Terrys and many more to name a few but they are now heading on their headline tour across the east coast. The huge success of their last tour for their debut EP sold out across all cities, so you don’t wanna miss this one!
