The Australian debut of the Last Dinner Party was a remarkable success, charming fans both old and new with their first-ever live performance in the country.

Festival Hall welcomed a crowd adorned in flowing white maxi-skirts, corsets, and elaborate makeup, setting a picturesque scene for the band's much-anticipated appearance. As the London-based stars took the stage, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement. The audience joyfully sang along to favorites like 'Burn Alive,' setting a lively tone for the evening.

Georgia, visibly moved, shared heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to perform back in Australia with her bandmates from London, sharing how she had “cried every night of this fucking tour” so far.

The band surprised fans with an unreleased track, 'Second Best,' accompanied by a memorable mishap-turned-triumph moment with the reveal of a special banner stating "Georgia’s Homecoming ‘24." Abigail then added a cheeky touch of "Welcome home, bitch!" that sent the crowd into a frenzy of cheers.

The night was also marked by spontaneous moments that endeared the band to their audience, such as Georgia's onstage antics sculling goon and Abigail giving into the local tradition of the shoey, much to the delight of the crowd.

A particular standout was Abigail’s magnetic stage presence. From beginning to end, the lead singer would strut around the stage with an incredible ability to connect with the audience. She would twirl and dance in her frilled dress and sing with such emotion that you couldn’t look away from.

The Last Dinner Party’s Australian debut was more than just an ordinary live show, it was a celebration of music and a testament to the enduring power of artistic expression to from female artists in the industry.
